Hot Tiger Update!

Bring on the VPN

The big stumbling block for enterprise acceptance of OSX Tiger has been the broken VPN client from Cisco. VPN clients are pretty much digital witchcraft, and the Cisco version is no different. It actually hooks into the guts of the OSX kernel, and clings there like a leech. When the kernel changed for Tiger (mostly for the CoreImage functionality) the spot that the leech was hoping to suck onto moved. Today Cisco will be releasing the new VPN client, and the beta tests have been solid. Time to toss Panther, kiddies ... the future is now.
