Rabbits and tigers, oh my!

It is a fair assessment to say that there is a more-or-less rampant lack of creativity in the Xbox gaming catalogue. It appears that Microsoft is trying to either address this or hide this (depending on your level of cynicism) with a new "public face" of the Xbox360 in Europe. A new "adverteaseral" website has appeared called Origen and it is specifically aimed at trying to make up ground in the EU market where the first 'box pretty much fell flat on it's face. If nothing else it is certainly pretty. You can't actually enter the contests unless you live in the EU, but playing with the bunnies is still kind of fun, so you might want to give it a look.

NOTE: This site was originally designed for the Japanese market and was hastily redesigned for the EU - apparently Microsoft is pretty much writing off Japan for good when it comes to console gaming. The Japanese want substance, and substance is not something one finds in abundance in the Xbox canon. If you poke around the site, you might notice flashes of two tigers underneath the two rabbits, especially during the transitions from one cut-scene to another. The original Japanese flash animation featured tigers, and the bunny objects were (it would seem) just slapped on as a pastiche for the EU.
