Torrents of fun

Is it the end of the line for BitTorrent?

A few weeks ago, the MPAA launched a huge offensive against people running BitTorrent servers and trackers. Many of the "grand ol' sites" like SuprNova disappeared in the night, washed away in a wave of legal missives. At the time, some wags claimed that it was the end of the line for BitTorrent and the need for central servers and trackers was the format's fatal flaw.

What those smarty arties didn't realize is that the servers and trackers are a convenience, not a necessity. And you can still find what you want in the Torrent world , you just have to work a little harder.
